Oskaloosa--Competing in an untraditional format on a very cold day, the William Penn outdoor track and field season got underway Friday in a dual meet against league rival Grand View.

Friday's dual meet against Grand View begins at 11 a.m. at Lacey Complex Stadium.  It is expected to conclude around 4:15 p.m.MEET SCHEDULE

Fremont, Neb.--Rosemary Bailey (Jr., Fayetteville, Ark., Communications) started William Penn's outdoor track and field campaign by giving the women's squad a national qualifier out of the gate at the Midland Half-Marathon Saturday.

Geneva, Ohio--Alex Edwards (Jr., Knoxville, Iowa, Secondary Education) became William Penn's eighth male All-American at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships Saturday.
